WEEK 2 -- P90X





Well, week 2 has not been so great
I was sick Mon and Christy was sick Tues
so today was our first day this week.
We did the arms/shoulders/back workout with
the bonus - we were supposed to do the abb ripper
but i did not have it in me.

I *did* however go for a 2 mile power walk
after that felt good.

Burnin' calories. Getting ready for the wedding.
Want to look GooD in the little black dress!!!!

feeling FAT







NOT feeling chubbylike my little friend up there
NOT feeling a little chunky
or like I am retaining some water

I feel fat
I feel fat and frustrated

5 days of this P90X and I am
aching and sore and tired
I feel happy that I am staying with it
and I am feeling very goal set/oriented

but I feel oh so fat!
The scales are going UP UP UP 5 LBS IN ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and I feel like giving up
but I won't.

day 4 small victory










well, i wieghed in

not down much but down a little
down to 223.8 which is better
than the 225 I was at

- I keep
telling myself I am
building muscle
building muscle
and my body is holding on to the fat
but it is quite discouraging to work
so hard and have it flip back in your face

I WANT TO GET TO 199 SO FREAKING BAD!!!!!!!

DAY FOUR --- YOGA YOUCHA YICK

today was day 4 of p90x
YOGA

so, when I have done yoga in the past
it was calming and relaxing and just
a peaceful wonderful thing

this? not.
it was hard and i was sweating and
i think i pulled something in my left
ass-cheek! ouch!

I am scared/anxious to weigh myself
today. this week has been frustrating
big time. scales are NOT reflecting
all my hard work - at all :O(

so, here goes nothing egh?

third weight loss group (short session)

‎1. $10 up front fee
2. Winner takes all. (Person with the highest % of weight loss will win the entire pot) (NOT! 1st place is 60% and 2nd is 40%)
3. No drinking water before initial weigh-in. (This is considered cheating)

We will be starting another competition in the fall (Sept 1st - Jan 1st)! It will be the Holiday Competition that will be open to everyone wanting to either lose weight or maintain their weight! It will be a lot of fun, and helpful keeping us on track through the holidays!

So excited to head this up and we are looking forward to this next competition!

-SHOULDERS and ARMS

Shoulders and arms was good, felt good
did well. Completed the whole hour of it
and felt positive. Skipped the cool down
and went into the AB RIPPER bonus cd
15 min of pure hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am ripped danggit - to shreds!
My gutt never hurt so bad in my life.
Not to mention my lower back and neck too -
I had to sub A LOT of crunches in there for the mass
number of moves I COULD NOT do at all :O(

When I grow up and quit growing OUT

ok so no, i won't be a jillian michaels but i can
have a drive can't i?
she is SO amazing
and so beautiful
and if i need a mentor
she is a good one

i am miserable sore but feel so
positive!!!!

p90x day 2

today was CARDIO

more like torturio
ugh

lots of the same moves as yesterday
lots of stretches and stuff to make
your "goo" as the instructor put it
go to work

I have goo? ok

well, it was a shorter workout about 40 min
was all - but i stuck thru it - goo n all

P90X Day 1

Wow.
Well, we had some confuzzles today
and we ended up going for a good 2.5 mi
walk first then back to Lezhai's for
our very first workout.
CORE SYNERGENGIX ?? I think it was?
whatever - who cares - it was ROUGH!
It was not *as* rough as I worried
but it was a killer workout!
We did bannanas and supermans and
lunges and squats and pushups
and bannanas and on and on. Some were
easy and some I just could NOT do at all
so I improvised. Nevertheless, I am in pain.
My lower abs are KILLING ME already
and my inner/front thighs are *T*I*G*H*T*!!!
I will be moving SLOW tommorrow!
But, I made it through day one! WOOOOT!!
Still need to measure too! :O{

PRE P90X Photos - oye vey!!!!!

























OH MY HECK!!!!!!!












So, since no one will see this, and it's all for me me me
and to see what happens with this P90X program - whew!
I hope n pray this helps A LOT! I also did the lil' digital
gameboy thinger that Lezhai has... it told me that according
to my height, weight, age, ect that I am at 44.8% fat and have
a BMI of 39.4 - ugh! My current weight is about 222 lbs and
I am wearing size 20/22 jeans and 18/20 shirts.
We didn't get to measure YET... so that is yet to come but
here is my SERIOUSLY SERIOUS reality check.
Wearin' a tight tee shirt and my snuggy workout capris!
Talk about incentive!!!
