yesterday...






Yesterday (Sunday Sept 6th) I went out for a 7.5 mile walk.
I had it mapped out. I was ready to conquor it all. I was
not planning to jog- just walk. See how rough n tough it would
be on me with the upcoming challenge.
I walked it. Took me 2 hours straight and on the dot. I did NOT
do 7.5 miles. :O( BUMMER!
I *DID* do 6.25 miles... and I have the freakin' blisters on
my heels to prove it! (Oh, time to buy new shoes....)

night time running






I have started to run in the later evenings. So far so good.
Except it is dark and scary. LOL SERIOUSLY!
Tonight I went out after dinner for a bit - did a little
over 2 miles in 35 minutes - not too bad! I ran 2 seperate
1/2 mile runs and they felt GREAT! If it had not been so
dark and so late I'd have probably kept going!!!
I am going for my BIG 7.5 mile walk tommorrow to see
how rough it will be... I am a little worried but I
am sure it will be fine.
Eating is OUT OF HAND right now - over 2000 cal a day?

ALMOST FORGOT!

Ran and walked last night! Woot woot! Did 2.5 miles
in 45 min with a walk/run interval. I did 2 seperate
1/4 mile runs and one 1/2 mile run. It felt GREAT!!!
I must not have stretched well enough though bc I
got a nasty charliehorse cramp in my ankle at bedtime
that killed me! UGH!
Slept well though and woke up feeling good. (No caffine
headache!!)
Busy day but making myself squeeze in a run this a.m.
too before work!
Down a lb in weight to 219 which I will take! Going
to say NO MORE 220's for me!!!
Had a rotten food choice day yesterday - ugh! Suprized
my weight was down - if I'd made GOOD choices just
thinking how much MORE I'd have been down?! :O)

I CAN and WILL do this!

stopped for coffe at
starbucks and got a
FREE muffin...
NOT CALORIE FREE i might add...

just not off to a real strong start
but i have the whole day ahead
to make smart(er) choices

Day 1 coming to an end...













So far so good.
I am within my calorie count range so far
and if I am good with my dinner I'll make it!
HOORAY!
Now if I can just keep it going...

Am so worn out -
hope to get to bed at a decent time
and sleep well so I can fight the
gym in the a.m.
once more!
I have to be getting back into routine!!!

A Fresh New Start!





















So, I have been slacking off a bit along with some other
health challenges and today I am making a promise TO MYSELF
to get back on track and get this weight OFF FOR GOOD! I have
done well maintaining until just recently and I refuse to
backtrack so here I am... new blog, new journaling, new me!
Issues I am facing right now?
- weight is up to 220 (my lowest was 209 a few months ago)
- TSH levels raging out of control (thyroid icks!)
- finishing a last round of Depo Provera shots which I will
NOT do again
- Getting my arse up and out to the gym in the early hours
- NOT going jogging like I was
- HUGE fear of the 7.5 mile run coming up in a few weeks
with Carlee in Twin

I have some hurdles to face. My usual biggest is FOOD
- too much of it and that is that.
Counting calories right now - shooting for a daily goal
of 1750 and will see what comes from that.

Photos are at my PRIME last fall at the cabin at Thanksgiving
at my best running and lowest weight and I looked what I thought
was my best!!!
Other photos are most recent this last month - wow my face has
filled out!! Then this summer with my siters after running -
just to motivate me!
